Perfecting Pasta – 16th February

Hosted by Chef Jon Christie, guests will learn a variety of different pasta making techniques, including filling and shaping pasta, and of course how to make the most delicious yet simple sauces to accompany them.
In this hands on course, you will also receive a number of demonstrations from Jon, giving plenty of hints and tips to develop your skills and give you the confidence to take your new found skills to the next level. Fresh pasta is so quick to make, once you have the know-how, you’ll never look back.
Guests will be welcomed with a glass of wine (or non-alcoholic alternative), before making your way to our beautiful kitchen where Jon will brief you about the evening ahead. In addition to learning some great new techniques, our chefs will discuss the importance of the various types of flours, kneading your dough and also how to finish and plate them in a way that will impress any critic. Towards the end of the class, the group will have the opportunity to sit down and enjoy their creations together, accompanied by a perfectly paired glass of wine from our Pavilion collection.
This is an adult lesson and not suitable for children under the age of 16. Those aged 16-17 must be supervised by a paying adult for the duration of the lesson. This lesson is not suitable for those who have a gluten or wheat allergy.
