Learn how to cook and eat real Thai food.
This hands-on class will mainly focus on the Issan region of Northeast Thailand, where zesty, herby, lip-smacking flavours are more prominent than creamy sweetness and coconut.
With guidance and demos from Chef Tania, you’ll learn how to use Thai ingredients – galangal, lime leaf, fish sauces, chillies and toasted rice. Dishes will include som tum, super-herby laap salad, punchy dipping sauces, sticky rice and a knock-out curry to create a sharing-style feast for tasting and enjoying with the rest of the class.
Class ingredients include meat, fish, shellfish and peanuts. Suitable for gluten-intolerant diets on request.
