The Santenay Beauregard wine is one of the most famous Premiers Crus from Santenay. It is located in the East of Santenay, at 500 metres from the terroirs of Chassagne Montrachet. This area is called “Beauregard” simply because from there is a very beautiful panoramic view. Facing South-East, this terroir is ideal to produce Chardonnay wines. With exclusively 25 years old Chardonnay vines covering a surface area of 0,60 ha., the soil is predominantly stony clay-limestone. The fermented must is matured for 8 months in French oak barrels. This is a great value white Burgundy showing exceptional minerality and poise.
