Over 550 million people in India eat a plant-based diet comprising vegetables, rice, pulses, nuts and grains which are super healthy and utterly delicious combined with masala spices, fruity chutneys, spicy pickles and punchy broths.
In this hands-on class you’ll learn how to create an Indian family-style sharing feast that everyone will enjoy, even the meat-eaters.
With guidance and demos from chef Tania you’ll be toasting and blending spices to make an incredible aubergine curry baingan mirch ka salan along with moong dhal, naan, pani puri, curry leaf mustard rice and various chutneys and dips. Tasting along the way, all your dishes will come together to be enjoyed with the rest of the class.
Class ingredients include nuts, chillies, garlic and mustard. Vegan. Suitable for gluten-intolerant diets on request.
